I'm Lauren, a journalist and audio producer based in New York City. I love stories that incorporate lesser-known history, strong characters, or a sense of whimsy—ideally, all three!

My writing has appeared in The New York Times, New York, GQ, and Hell Gate, among many other publications.
I launched and produced The Hell Gate Podcast, and have produced stories outlets including NPR, BirdNote, and Fast Company. I was an assistant producer and fact-checker on the Prologue Projects docuseries Think Twice: Michael Jackson.

Currently, I'm a senior editor at The New York Times Upfront, a newsmagazine for high schoolers published by Scholastic.
